An Introduction to Surrogate Parenting
If you are one of those couples who are unable to conceive a child naturally there is an alternative available to you. And it is not adoption. The option we are discussing is surrogate parenting. Surrogate parenting is an agreement that a willing woman who is able to bear children will become pregnant with another woman's baby. This is accomplished by means of in-vitro fertilization. The volunteer mother agrees to relinquish all her rights to the child at birth. Whether or not the surrogate mother may be involved with the child's life is an option.
